On 25 August 2022, Elena Yurievna Gagarina, head of the Moscow Kremlin Museums, spoke at the opening session "Child and Culture. Dialogue of Generations" of the Children's Cultural Forum, which was held in Pavilion 57 at the All-Russia Exhibition Center.

It was for the first time that the Forum, organized by the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation and designed to help children realize their creative potential, was held: young visitors met teachers and public figures and explored various kinds of art. The programme of the Forum included educational and festival activities—with over 60 sessions in all. Guests included delegations from foreign countries such as Egypt, Serbia, Uzbekistan, Abkhazia and the Democratic People's Republic of Donetsk and others.

Among the participants of the opening session "Child and Culture. Dialogue of Generations" also were Sergey Bezrukov, Igor Butman, Yuliana Slashcheva and Nikolay Tsiskaridze, who shared experience in their professions and creative work and answered questions from the attendees.

Elena Gagarina introduced to the contemporary museum and explained what tasks are being solved by the Moscow Kremlin Museums’ team at the moment.

"Many things are required of a modern museum – comfortable space for receiving visitors, convenient navigation, lighting solution, stylish souvenir shops, cafes, conference rooms, lecture halls, areas for working with children," said the director.

Special attention was paid to the museum's relocation to the building of Trade Rows on Red Square. The opening of the renovated exposition will be a symbolic event marking a new stage in the development of the Moscow Kremlin Museums and cultural life of Moscow.

At the end of the session, the participants were offered to create a manifesto – parting wishes for children, to bring their favorite expressions and quotes guiding them in their life. Elena Gagarina mentioned that one of her favourite expressions belongs to Konstantin Tsiolkovsky, the founder of cosmonautics, "The main motive of my life is to do something useful for people, not to live my life in vain, to advance mankind at least a little bit forward".
