The Armory is one of the oldest museums in Russia, a world-famous museum, a treasury with more than 200 years of history. You will familiarize yourself with unique works of decorative and applied art, such as royal regalia, ceremonial arms and armour, coronation dresses, and much more.

The treasury of the Russian tsars lies at the heart of the museum's collection. Precious pieces got into the treasury as diplomatic gifts or made by Russian and foreign craftsmen on the territory of the Kremlin. The best precious metals and stones were acquired to create jewellery masterpieces. Today we are going to talk about some of them.

Especially for hearing-impaired, the Moscow Kremlin Museums has created a series of video materials. One will get acquainted with walls and towers of the medieval fortress, interior and décor of the Patriarch's Palace, and see treasures of the Armory. You'll find out what tsarina's and noble boyar's dresses consisted, and how feasts were held at tsar's court.

Enjoy watching it!
