Childhood is the major period in human development. It is the time when the character, habits, outlook, taste and other individual peculiarities of a child are intensively formed. In childhood we learn the world around us by exploring different things, which constitute our life. Children's toys, books, photographs, portraits and clothing usually take on special significance and play a very important role during the individual's formation.
As the Moscow Kremlin museums have been developed as a court museum the exhibition comprises mostly belongings of tsar's children. The display, divided into several sections, presents portraits of crown princes, toys, arms and armour, textbooks, garments, tableware, furniture and carriages, Christian relics.
Most part of the displayed exhibits are preserved in the Moscow Kremlin funds and exposed within the exhibition for the first time!
Have a nice trip!
