A solemn opening of the exhibition 'The 100th Anniversary of the USSR: G. V. Chicherin and the Soviet Diplomacy' took place on the Moscow Kremlin Museums on the 6th of October 2022. The display is dedicated to life and work of Georgy Vasilievich Chicherin – the first People's Commissar for Foreign Affairs of the Soviet Union, who took all the necessary steps to bring the young Soviet state out of political and economic isolation and to get it recognized by the world powers.

On 22 September, the opening of the "Saint Sergius of Radonezh" exhibition timed to the 600th Anniversary of the saint's relics being uncovered was held in the State anteroom of the Armoury Chamber. The display reveals various aspects of St Sergius' veneration.

On 7 September 2022, the opening of the exhibition called "Tsar Peter Alexeevich. On the Eve of Empire. The Moscow Kremlin Museums’ Collection" took place at the V. K. Arseniev State Museum and Heritage Site of Far East History. There are over 100 objects on display, which are related to the least known early period of the first emperor’s life – from birth till sole full empowerment.

The exhibition "1872 Peter the Great's Anniversary in Moscow" is now on in the state anteroom of the Armoury Chamber. It is dedicated to the Polytechnic Exhibition that became the most magnificent and extraordinary project 150 years ago, as a part of the celebrations commemorating the 200th Anniversary of the first Russian emperor.

On 12 May 2022, the Moscow Kremlin Museums have launched "The Duel: from Trial by Combat to Noble Crime" exhibition, introducing the European history of duelling through the original historical sources and artefacts of the 16th-17th centuries, many of which have never been previously shown in Moscow.

On 14 April, the ‘Kremlin Service. Gift of the Karisalov Family’ exhibition opening took place in the state anteroom of the Armoury Chamber.
