    The Moscow Kremlin Museums perticipate in the exhibition project carried out by the State Historical Museum to commemorate the 700th anniversary of St. Sergius of Radonezh — one of the Russian Orthodox Church's most venerated saints, a distinguished spiritual leader and monastic reformer of Russia.

    Moscow Kremlin Museums and the Palace Museum of Beijing agreed upon collaboration

    The result of the working visit to China paid by Elena Gagarina, Moscow Kremlin Museums Director General, became the signing of the Letter of Intent with The Palace Museum «Gugong», a national museum housed in the Forbidden City in Beijing, aiming to enlarge the bilateral cooperation, the assistance in protecting cultural heritage and its exposition, as well as the improvement of the quality of services rendered to the visitors. From the Chinese part the document was signed by Shan Jixiang, Palace Museum Director.

    Charles Rennie Mackintosh: Manifest of the New Style

    The Moscow Kremlin Museums introduce to the Russian public the oeuvre of Charles Rennie Mackintosh (1868–1928) — an outstanding Scottish architect, painter and designer. Having graduated the Glasgow School of Art, Mackintosh with time became one of the most significant epresentatives of Art Nouveau in British architecture. His works had a serious impact on the development of European architecture and design throughout the XXth century.

    Music festival «Ambassadorial Gifts» in The Moscow Kremlin Museums

    Music festival «Ambassadorial Gifts» is held in The Moscow Kremlin Museums in the period from September, 24th to November, 11th within a cross-cultural collaborative programme to mark the Year of British culture in Russia. Famous musicians from Great Britain and Russian Federation will perform remarkable Russian and English pieces of music to present their own vision of musical traditions of both countries.

    British curators and art historians will deliver lectures dedicated to the exhibition «Charles RennieMackintosh: new style manifest» running in Moscow Kremlin museums. Lectures will take place within the framework of the project «Scientists speaking: experts visiting Moscow Kremlin museums » as well as within the cross - year of British and Russian cultures supported by the British council.
