The access to the Kremlin territory is through Kutafia Tower; the Armoury Chamber – through Borovitskaya Tower passage. There can be a queue at the security checkpoint, for the best experience, please arrive beforehand (30-40 min).
The Archangel Cathedral is closed for visiting on 31 May from 15:00.
The Assumption Cathedral is closed for visiting on 4 June from 15:00, on 5 June until 14:00, on 27 June from 15:00, on 28 June until 14:00.
The 'Kremlin Square: Historical Memoirs' route is temporally closed due to the restoration of the archaeological windows.
The 'Ivan the Great' Bell Tower is closed until 2024.
The Side Chapel of St Varus in the Archangel Cathedral is open for visiting from 15 April.
Please, pay attention that personal protective equipment (masks or respirators) is preferred during the visit to the Museums, including those less than 18 years old.

The Moscow Kremlin Museums invites both adults and children to take part in the annual creative activity 'Watercolour Plein-air' in the Grand Kremlin Square! From 13:00 to 16:00 you can create your watercolour drawing of the architecture of the old fortress and the garden in bloom. All the necessary materials, such as paints, brushes and paper, will be carefully prepared for you. Specialists of the museum’s Kids and Teens Education Centre will help you to realise your boldest ideas. There is no age limit for participants. All you need is an entry ticket to the Architectural Ensemble of the Moscow Kremlin. Payment can be made on our website or at the ticket office in the Alexander Garden.
The Moscow Kremlin Museums does not cooperate with any online ticketing platform. The tickets are available online at the museums' official website and at the official ticket office at the Alexandrovsky Sad (Alexander Garden). The Moscow Kremlin Museums do not guarantee you admission with tickets purchased at nonofficial websites.
The Moscow Kremlin Museums in collaboration with KAMIS Museum Systems Ltd. and Multimedia Solutions Lab Ltd., with the support of Gazprom Export LLC, have produced a multimedia application for mobile devices – "Moscow Kremlin Museums. Armoury Chamber". It provides the latest news about the events of the Kremlin Museums and full information on the Armoury Chamber, i.e. museum map with wayfinding features, audio guide, information about its halls and exhibits, games and quests.
The number of daily visitors to the Armoury Chamber is limited due to the capacity of the museum. Admission to the architectural complex of the Cathedral Square for tourist groups is also regulated acc to the schedule. The Museums do not guarantee admission for the visitors late for the session.
