The ancient golden cap known as “The Cap of Monomakh” played an significant role in the history of Russia. For three centuries it was used while setting for reigning ceremonies. There is no agreed opinion about the cap’s author, the place of origin and the way it appeared in the royal treasury. The key to the secret of “The Cap of Monomakh” has not been found.
