Children about the tsar’s crown:
- Once upon a time there was a Tsar. His name was Monomakh. All tsars, who were not tsars-in-chief, also wanted to put this cap on, but they could not. It was very heavy. Only Monomakh could wear such a heavy cap. He kept talking to his sons that they should wear this “Monomakh’s Cap” on their heads.
- When I do something and it is difficult for me, my Granny says “Heavy is the Cap of Monomakh”.
- There are no gloomy colours on the cap because they put it on only on festivals.
- It is very beautiful.
- The cap is ancient and very beautiful.
- It looks like a dome.
- The Cap looks like the Tsar-Bell.
- “The Cap of Monomakh” is very beautiful and I wanted to put it on, but I may not, because only Tsars put it on.
- The Cap of Monomakh is made of gold and shines in the eyes.
- I think that “The Cap of Monomakh” is very beautiful and worth being painted by children.
- I like it for it has many stones and white beads and nice fur.
