Lithographs of the display present the first try of Solntsev to depict a subject of archeological research, i.e. sketches of items from the Ryazan treasure-trove, discovered near the village of Old Ryazan in 1822. You can also see artworks by the west-european silversmiths, i.e. gilded hand-wash jug, decorated with rock crystal, a German goblet shaped as a melon, a pickle bowl (the so-called "Sugar-tree").
Drawings of the painter vividly reproduce all the shades of enamel colours, precious glance of gold and precious stones as well as delicate style and design of the articles.
