Showcase 7. Novgorod silverware of the XIIth to XVIIth centuries

The articles, represented in the showcase 7, relate to the XVI-XVIIth centuries and represent silver articles, made in technique of filigree, enamels. The Novgorod silversmiths exerted influenced on applied art's development of many Russian cultural centres, including Moscow. Their artistic methods and the Novgorod design became visible when viewing the items, executed in the Kremlin Golden and Silver Chambers.
