In the lower tier of the murals over the burial places one can see imagination portraits of princes, buried in the cathedral. The place of a portrait in the series of princes’ images depends on location of his tombstones. Princes are depicted wearing secular dresses frontally or turning to the East praying confronting the cathedral’s altar. Beside each portrait a name-sake patron saint is depicted in a circle. Tomb portraits belong to the initial wall-painting of the cathedral of the XVIth century.
