Just like in other urban regions, figulines of different use are the most massive finds during excavations in the Kremlin territory. First of all, kitchen and dinner ware should be marked. Kitchen dishware was used for cooking. Thick and black layer of deposit on it gives evidence to the point. These are high pots decorated with simple linear or wavy ornaments. Tableware is of more various shapes - jugs, bowls, mugs, fine pots for spices and sauces. details of such vessels are often found during excavations - high beaks of jugs, stoppers shaped as a head of an animal, handles of mugs, fragments of low bowls etc. Red earthenware dishes of the XIVth-XVth century were often decorated by ornaments of tincture of white clay. A particular place in the archeological collection belongs to the group of slipware used in burial ceremonials of high Moscow nobility in the XIVth - XVth centuries.
