The Moscow Kremlin is a symbol of the Russian statehood, one of the largest architectural ensembles of the world. In 1990, the Moscow Kremlin, Red Square and the Alexandrov Gardens were included to the UNESCO World Heritage List.
The Moscow Kremlin territory houses the Residence of the President of the Russian Federation. Besides, the famous Moscow Kremlin Museum-Preserve is located here.
It includes the Armoury treasure-house, the Patriarch’s Palace and the twelve Apostles’Church, the Assumption, Archangel’s and Annunciation Cathedrals, the Church of Laying Our Lady’s Holy Robe, the Ivan the Great Bell-Tower and the Assumption Belfry, the famous Tsar-Cannon and the Tsar-Bell, collections of artillery weapons and bells.
