Belonged to Patriarch Filaret (c.1554/1555-1633), father of Mikhail Fyodorovich Romanov, who was Metropolitan of Rostov (1605) and Patriarch of all-Russia (1608). Enthroned as Patriarch in 1619, after his return from the Pole  captivity. Since that time, he was in fact a co-regent to his son.
