For 30 years the Imperial family ordered Easter Eggs at Faberge Firm. They were always of excellent quality and design. Among the Firm’s customers there were Alexander III, who presented a precious Egg to his wife, and Nicholas II, who used to present such Easter present to his wife - Empress Alexandra Fyodorovna and his mother - widow Empress Maria Fyodorovna. Masters of the Firm kept the idea of every Egg secret. The Eggs never failed to be admired by their receivers. A lot of stories used in the Eggs’ design were connected to events of the Imperial family’s life.
