Kirillo-Belozersk Historical and Architectural Museum-Preserve

On display in the Kirillo-Belozersk Historical and Architectural Museum-Preserve are  seven exhibits from Moscow Kremlin Museums, each of which is of particular historical and artistic value.

Two exhibits belonged to Patriarch Nikon  - sakkos of gold atlas and cudgel case of green Italian damask. Five original charters of the XVIIth century had been written on the order of Patriarch Nikon when he was Metropolitan of Novgorod. Of particular value is Charter of benediction from Nikon, Metropolitan of Novgorod, to monk Kirill with confirmation of Kirill's inauguration as a deacon of the Transfiguration Church of the Solovetsky Monastery.
