1# Pectoral iconExhibition "Prince and Hegumen. The Kulikovo Battle, Dmitry Donskoi and Saint Sergiy Radonezhsky" continues the series of historical patriotic exhibitions, related to jubilee dates. It is based on documents, icons, items of pictorial embroidery and plastic arts, manuscript books, telling about the historical event and its reflection in monuments of applied art and literature from the collection of  the State History Museum.  The display has been replenished by exhibits from the Sergiyev Posad Museum-Preserve and the Russian State Archive of Ancient Acts.

Moscow Kremlin Museums present two rare exhibits, related to the names of Dmitry Donskoi and Sergiy Radonezhsky, i.e. pectoral icon of the XIVth century in a silver filigree frame, on the obverse of which there is the image of Dmitry Solunsky, Saint Patron of Dmitry Donskoi, and folding icon of the XVth century in a gold frame adorned with precious stones. On its reverse there is the depiction of Saint Sergiy Radonezhsky in the technique of carving on gold.
